【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardgivesguidanceonthemostimportanthealthinformaticsstandards(andequivalentpublications)inusein,orappropriateforusein,theUK.Thescopeofthisguideislimitedtothosestandardsandpublicationsapprovedby9July2001.Itdealsonlywithstandards(eitherapprovedorincourseofdevelopment)developedspecificallyforuseinhealthcare.Forexample,eventhoughlower-layercommunicationsstandardsarewidelyusedinhealth,theiruseismoreorlessexactlythesameasinfieldsotherthanhealth,andtheyarethereforeomitted.Conversely,whereastandardhasbeendevelopedspecificallyforuseinhealthcare—eventhoughthestandardisofmoregeneralapplicability—ithasbeenincluded.ThisGuideisintendedtobeofuseto:—procurersofsystemsincorporatinghealthinformaticsstandards;—implementersofsuchsystems;—suppliersofsuchsystems;—thoseresponsibleforselectingandapprovinghealthinformaticsstandards,e.g.NHSInformationStandardsBoards.Itisalsointendedtobeofuseto:—standardsdevelopers;—policymakers;—consultants;—thosewithaninterestinthedevelopmentofhealthinformaticsstandards.
